I love making shredded chicken! And as a bonus, it doesn’t heat up the house in the summer. My favorite combo is one pound boneless, skinless breast and one pound boneless, skinless thighs. It’s a nice flavor with a little more fat.

Instant Pot Shredded Chicken

INGREDIENTS

• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ cup water or chicken broth
• 4 pounds chicken breast*
• ½ teaspoon black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Frist, Add all of the ingredients to the Instant Pot.
2. Then, Secure the lid, close the pressure valve and cook for 20 minutes at high pressure.
3. Quick release pressure.
4. Next, Shred the chicken with two forks.
5. Store the chicken in an air-tight container with the liquid to help keep the meat moist.
